RingCube Technologies Adds BPO Expert to Team

September 09, 2010

RingCube Technologies, a provider of managed virtual workspaces, has named Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and contact center expert Julie Casteel as the newest member of its advisory team.

Most recently, Casteel served as the executive vice president of global sales and marketing at Sitel Corporation, a $1.6B BPO call center provider.

Officials with RingCube (News - Alert) said that the company delivers vDesk – a high-performance virtual desktop solution for secure remote access in Work-At-Home computing environments.

According to company officials, by leveraging vDesk, BPO firms and contact centers are able to increase the satisfaction of both their customers and agents, and meet strict PCI (News - Alert) DSS, HIPAA and other security and compliance related requirements.

Through extensive policy and security controls, vDesk ensures customers’ corporate and client information is protected.

Not only does vDesk isolate and encrypt private information from leaking to agents’ desktops, but vDesk also adds host protection policy enforcement to ensure Work-At-Home agents’ PC patch levels, firewall, antivirus and antispyware are properly operational. This ensures the highest levels of information security for private information.

Company officials noted that in her new role, Casteel’s contribution to RingCube’s sales and marketing efforts will be instrumental in driving the company’s success in the BPO and contact center markets.

“The addition of this proven business executive to our team further strengthens the growing corporate capabilities of RingCube,” said Pete Foley (News - Alert), president and CEO, RingCube.

Foley also said that Julie has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to be successful in the BPO and contact center sales arenas, and the company will leverage her knowledge, expertise and client relationships as the company ramps up its presence in this important market segment.

Casteel brings more than 25 years of successful sales and management experience within the telecommunications and call center spaces to RingCube.

Casteel said that this is an important time of transition for the contact center industry because those organizations that harness new technologies such as virtualization and cloud computing to gain a competitive advantage are now growing their Work-At-Home business by more than 30 percent annually.

“I am excited to join the RingCube team because their vDesk solution is helping customers enable secure Work-At-Home contact centers that deliver higher customer satisfaction (CSAT), greater predictability, lower employee turnover, and overall cost savings,” Casteel said.
