IBBS Deploys NetVantage Powered By Monolith Software
Integrated Broadband Services or ‘IBBS (News - Alert),’ a provider of fully-integrated data, voice and technical support that simplify the delivery of advanced communications into the residential and commercial marketplace, has announced that it has deployed IBBS NetVantage, a comprehensive web-based network tool that is powered by the capabilities of Monolith Software. Monolith Software is a developer of network management software solutions for service provider and large enterprise networks.
Relying upon an innovative integration of technology and people, IBBS adopts an expert approach to offer enhanced customer experience and measurable ROI for the companies. The IBBS NetVantage had been developed with an aim to enable the broadband providers to have a better insight and control upon the performance and availability of their networks.
Equipped with a number of features such as role-based views, dashboards, self-service performance and availability reporting, the solution will help the IBBS customers in accessing the same data and information that IBBS Network Operations Center personnel leverage to manage their network performance and monitor network events.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 cable operators will especially find IBBS NetVantage useful as they don’t need to make significant and high cost up-front investments to deploy system-wide solutions. Leveraging company’s scale, they can implement advanced technology to the benefit of all their customers.
IBBS had designed NetVantage to offer maximum flexibility, which enables the users to access real-time network statistics through any web browser any time they wish. The solution powered by Monolith Software had been developed as a multi-tenant architecture, offering role-based views. Leveraging its user-specific architecture, information technology executives, technicians, customer care personnel and engineers are able to access the information they need to have.
According to Paul Freeman, chief operating officer at IBBS, company’s customers expressed a need for additional visibility into network operations, so it sought the most innovative and transparent solution to meet their needs. Freeman noted that IBBS NetVantage satisfies company’s desire to offer advanced support services.
Initially IBBS evaluated Monolith solution against a set of stringent criteria for a period of one-year, and it required the tool to offer information that could reduce service interruptions and deliver and prove service levels in a smooth and quick to deploy model. En-Touch Systems, a cable operator based in Houston was an initial customer of IBBS NetVantage customer, and managed to achieve a significant improvement while managing its network.
In August 2009, IBBS expanded its customer call center and relocated to a new and larger facility in Cartersville, Ga. IBBS completed this move in response to an increase in both customers and personnel.
