Bunzl Distribution USA Chooses Park City Group as SaaS Customer

Bunzl Distribution USA, a leading provider of outsourced products for processors, supermarkets, retailers, convenience stores and other users, has selected Park City, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) provider of unique supply chain solutions for retailers and their suppliers, to provide comprehensive hosted solutions.

The hosted solutions will be deployed to distribution centers for up to 20 of the Bunzl Distribution customer’s trading partners and provide vendor managed inventory (VMI) and plan for future demand planning on a SaaS basis.

The Park City VMI and demand planning are powered by sophisticated automated systems that collect, sort and analyze data in order to produce actionable intelligence for business decisions and enhanced capabilities. This includes improved forecast accuracy; reduced days of supply and service level; allows planners to focus on value-added customer service; provides improved visibility, statistical forecasting for systematic planning of promotions, new item introductions, analysis and seasonal trends; further improves the supplier reputation within the retailer community; as well as maximize shipping efficiency by automatically generating orders that meet shipping constraints, such as weight and pallets.
