Astreya Partners Invests in Infrastructure Services Division

November 17, 2010

Multi-national IT services provider, Astreya Partners has made significant investments in its Infrastructure Services division. The strategic move will enable the company to capitalize on long-term trends among organizations that outsource select portions of their IT infrastructure support.

Astreya has promoted experienced IT services professional Rebecca McCartney as its Vice President of Infrastructure Services and has also made other significant investments in its staff and resources.

McCartney is with Astreya Partners since January of 2009 and worked hard to establish the company as a recognized leader in delivering customized, IT infrastructure consulting services solutions.

The new vice president will oversee all aspects of Astreya's infrastructure services activities including business development, sales and client support.

“Rebecca brings an enormous degree of very relevant, senior-level expertise to her new role,” said Jeffrey Freeland, CEO of Astreya Partners, in a press release. “We are pleased that the Infrastructure Services area of our business has grown significantly and presents additional opportunities for expansion. McCartney’s high-energy approach and proven track record of client engagement makes her a perfect fit for this very important, strategic role in the company.”

“I am very excited about my expanded responsibilities and opportunity to accelerate our expansion in IT Infrastructure Services,” said McCartney. “Astreya has developed a differentiated business model involving rigorous recruiting and support for high caliber technical consultants. Our investment in additional resources increases our ability to support both our existing clients and to develop new client relationships.”

Astreya has also appointed John Sedivy to the position of regional manager for Astreya Partners. Sedivy will lead his team of sales associates to attract new Infrastructure Services clients in the Bay Area and across the Northern Peninsula.

Sedivy was earlier principal and co-founder of Vitrix Technologies, and has more than 15 years of IT sales experience.
