BackOffice Associates Delivers Boring Go Live Data Migration to Kraft Foods

BackOffice Associates, LLC, a provider of ERP Data Migration, Data Governance and Master Data Management solutions for Oracle, SAP (News - Alert) and other ERP vendors, has announced to have successfully enabled Boring Go Live data migrations for seventy-three of plants of Kraft Foods, a well known confectionary, food and beverage corporation based in the United States.

Within the process, BackOffice deployed DataDialysis, its data migration solution and data governance tool to harmonize around 35,000 customer records of Kraft Foods to deliver consistent business improvement in data quality of the company.

Offering its solutions for Oracle (News - Alert), PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, SAP, Infor and various other ERP solutions, BackOffice Associates offers its Boring Go Live process for the uneventful implementation of ERP. Based in Massachusetts, the company also has its offices located in Europe, India, Mexico, Singapore and the United States.

Kraft Foods was looking for a solution that could help it in managing its global, enterprise SAP data and could also address the data governance issues for their data migration and MDM teams without additional resources. BackOffice deployed a solution that enables the company to handle its ERP project in a more structured manner for the deadlines and commitments around data definition and other data-related project components.

One the data was migrated; the company leveraged its DataDialysis process to help Kraft Foods in managing its data conveniently and keeping ‘Business-Ready Data Every Day.’ With the solution, Kraft Foods can manage 195 million records downloaded everyday, with the help of just three people.

According to David Underwood, manager for DDS operations and business services at Kraft Foods, all the careful data planning led the company to be smarter about overall resource planning. Underwood noted that BackOffice brought tools, methodology and experts to bridge a critical time in Kraft Foods’ SAP project and go-live to keep it moving forward and respond faster, better and more efficiently.
