Informatica Debuts Informatica Cloud Express
Informatica launched Informatica Cloud Express, the first cloud data integration service with usage-based pricing.

- Alert)) integration applications and a powerful platform for developing and deploying custom integration services to non-technical users over the web. The customers can now align business users and IT and get more from your cloud and on-premise data.
Opening the door for organizations of all sizes to leverage the data integration capabilities of Informatica Cloud, Informatica Cloud Express pricing will start at only $99 per month. Informatica Cloud Express will empower Salesforce administrators and operations staff to create, schedule and automate bi-directional cloud-to-on premise integration tasks, which will be delivered as a true multi-tenant cloud service.
“With its game-changing pay-as-you-go approach to integration, Informatica Cloud Express is an extremely flexible, economical and easy way to integrate enterprise data with Salesforce CRM and Force.com applications," said Ron Papas, general manager of Informatica Cloud, in a press release. "Since 2008, Informatica's Data Loader Service has been the most popular applications on the AppExchange. As user needs have expanded, they have requested more capabilities, enhanced customer support and a pay-for-use pricing model.”
Informatica Cloud Express customers will have the ability to upgrade seamlessly to more advanced editions of Informatica Cloud as cloud integration needs become broader and more complex. Enabling broader data integration capabilities, these advanced editions are available on an annual subscription basis, support massive data volumes. Informatica Cloud Express offers an economical entry point that can easily scale, as needed, to the full power of Informatica Cloud, the company stated.
Recently, the company announced the general availability of the Informatica Cloud Fall 2010 release. The new release delivers enhancements across the on-demand data integration service, which is now run by more than 900 companies, handling more than 50,000 data integration tasks and 300 million transactions per day. The new Trust.InformaticaCloud.com provides Informatica Cloud customers and community access to real-time performance and availability status of the multi-tenant service.
