LotusLive iNotes is a security-rich, Web-based e-mail service that provides essential messaging and calendaring capabilities to businesses of all sizes.
According to press release, Navajo Systems' Virtual Private SaaS (News
- Alert) (VPS) for LotusLive gives the enterprise exclusive control over the encryption of their remotely stored cloud data, consequently mitigating the data regulation restrictions which may apply to private data stored in the cloud. It offers enterprise-grade security in terms of data protection, user access, and physical security.
Navajo Systems' VPS for LotusLive provides an additional encryption layer in which the enterprise has full control over its sensitive data since it holds the encryption keys and is solely responsible for its data security. This provides an elevated level of assurance that regulated information or confidential customer data is never stored or processed outside the organization in readable form.
In a press release, Dan Gross, CEO of Navajo Systems, said that the company is proud that leading SaaS providers such as IBM LotusLive have recognized Navajo Systems as an important part of their cloud ecosystem and LotusLive customers now have an elegant way to comply with any data-related regulations which may apply to corporate data stored and processed in the cloud.
Navajo Systems VPS for LotusLive is completely transparent, requiring no software modifications, and is easy to deploy. A unique solution to the regulatory barriers posed to cloud computing by jurisdictions around the world, VPS for LotusLive ensures that all sensitive data stored and processed by LotusLive remains encrypted at all times, at rest and in transit, while still allowing LotusLive to function normally.
