HarbourVest Partners Picks Informatica Cloud
Informatica Corp. has announced that independent global private equity firm HarbourVest Partners has deployed Informatica Cloud to synchronize their full range of back-office client information with its salesforce.com customer relationship management (CRM) implementation.
Playing an integral role, Informatica Cloud helps HarbourVest to “effectively” attract and retain investor clients since it powers a 360-degree view of its clients and enhanced sales responsiveness.
Thanks to Informatica Cloud solution, HarbourVest has been able to increase sales effectiveness and competitiveness. Company officials said that sales team now share up-to-the-minute holistic views of client relationships across all channels, increasing sales productivity.
The solution has also enhanced client relationships and improved knowledge sharing enterprise-wide. HarbourVest’s client relations team now has a better view of recent client activity. Company officials said that this allows them to enhance client service and via synchronizing its on-premise Equitrak application with Salesforce CRM.
HarbourVest said it has eliminated information silos and ensured a ready-flow of complete client information across its global operations.
Company officials said that Informatica Cloud solution also supports rigorous compliance and data privacy regulations. The Informatica Cloud solution helps ensure data security and privacy in data exchanges across the corporate firewall, in-line with stringent market regulations.
Calling Informatica Cloud the heartbeat of HarbourVest's salesforce.com strategy, Greg Mahoney, business analyst at HarbourVest Partners, said in a press release that it was vital to their use of salesforce.com to have the cloud-based technology.
“Live in only three weeks, Informatica Cloud allows our client relationship teams to maintain rewarding, long-term relationships with our global network of private equity clients,” Mahoney said.
Ron Papas, general manager at Informatica Cloud, said that Informatica's relationship with HarbourVest has enabled the organization to maximize the value of its customer data and its salesforce.com investment.
“Having a single view of customers has allowed HarbourVest to support its business clients' needs more easily,” he said.
Last year in September, Informatica announced the general availability of Informatica Cloud.
