US Phone Selects Telastic Fully-Managed Hosted VoIP Product
US Phone (News - Alert), a next-generation communications provider based in California and serving customers worldwide through offices in Brazil and Columbia, has announced it has selected Telastic fully-managed hosted VoIP product from Pac-West to expand service offerings.
“Our rapid growth created the need for an upgrade to our systems for supporting our customers' call center operations around the world,” said Wilkin Acedera, CTO of US Phone, in a statement.
Acedera said that Telastic provided the company with an innovative and extensive set of service-based call center IP-PBX (News - Alert) features, and was up and running for the company right away.
“Most importantly - the Telastic service-based approach provides us a pay-as-you-go pricing model that allows us to continue our rapid growth without concern for capital constraints,” Acedera said.
“We are very pleased to count US Phone as a next-generation service provider realizing the benefits of Telastic,” said Vic Bozzo, president and general manager of the Telastic business unit at Pac-West (News - Alert).
Bozzo said that as an emerging leader in the call center space, they recognize the near-term economics and long-term potential of a service-based model. Telastic offers them an alternative that gives better functionality, faster, and at a fraction of the price, he said.”
Officiuals with Pac-West pointed out that the company continues to see customers embrace its Telastic on-demand telecom service set, flexibly delivered as fully managed services, self-managed services and infrastructure services.
Company officials said that the Telastic solution set includes key telecom service components such as a feature-rich SBC, white-label VoIP and IP-PBX services, certified third-party applications and telephony infrastructure as-a-service offerings.
TMCnet in January reported that Pac-West Telecomm’s (News

The company claims that premier carriers and service providers leverage the Telastic Border Controller to fuel growth in their business. The clients recognize the service’s superior functionality and a service-based pricing model, which means paying only for the capacity they use.
