Tyler Technologies Offers ERP SaaS Solution to Columbia County
Dallas based Tyler Technologies, a provider of end-to-end information management solutions and services for local governments, has announced that it has entered in to a seven-year software as a service (SaaS (News
- Alert)) contract in Columbia County, N.Y., for Tyler’s Munis enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
The agreement is said to be worth around $1.2 million, which includes hosting services, related professional services, maintenance and support.
“Columbia County needed a system that would position it to better meet and adapt to future challenges, which is why we selected Tyler’s Munis solution,” said Randy Wheeler, Columbia County’s director of information systems.
Wheeler said that Munis’ integrated applications will streamline and automate their workflow processes, centralize their information and data and empower their workforce to do more with less time, money and effort. “We are also pleased to work with a solution that will allow us to effectively leverage reporting features and link data to positive results.”
Columbia County has reviewed and invested in a wide range of Munis applications, including financial management, human capital management and content management.
Munis will be hosted and administered at Tyler’s data center in Falmouth, Maine. Muni basically enable and empowers users to become more efficient, productive and responsive to the needs of their constituents.
Richard E. Peterson Jr., president of Tyler’s ERP & School Division said, “Tyler’s unique local government insight coupled with our technology and Munis’ underlying functionality will facilitate information-driven decisions and streamline processes, helping Columbia County achieve its business goals and operate with greater efficiency.”
He said that they look forward to working with the county to empower staff and citizens and help Columbia County significantly improve its daily operations.
