SureQuest Releases OnDemand Dining Management Application
To make hospitals more productive, competitive and profitable, SureQuest Systems, Inc., a provider of dietary software solutions for the healthcare industry, has introduced ThreeSquares OnDemand Dining Management Application.
According to CEO Tim Sudderth, founder of SureQuest Systems, Inc., OnDemand applications were the next logical progression of SureQuest’s long standing SaaS (News 
- Alert) (Software as a Service) business model which was implemented in 1996.
According to a press release, ThreeSquares OnDemand applications can be carried out with much lower “startup” costs as compare to the traditional software license purchase and support contracts of the past. It is the newest SureQuest SaaS offering providing the same excellence in dining management and nutrition solutions for the healthcare industry as their traditional ThreeSquares software systems. It was totally re-engineered from the ground up using the latest technology and development tools to deliver a powerful application via an internet login.
JoAnne Marceau, vice president of business development said, “Customers can start by using the basic Recipes OnDemand application and grow into the application as they need.”
International Data Corporation (IDC (News - Alert)) research showed that by 2012, nearly 85 percent of all new software firms coming to market will be built around applications delivered OnDemand using the SaaS business model and will account for nearly 26 percent of new revenue growth in the software market by 2014.
ThreeSquares OnDemand is completely new and contains recipes, menus, production, purchasing, costing and nutritional components, plus Room Service and Tray Tickets options. OnDemand delivery or “Cloud Computing” has gone mainstream and has rapidly become the “delivery mechanism of choice” by both Users and IT professionals throughout the industry.
In other company news, TMCnet reported that SureRecipes, a software release by SureQuest Systems, Inc., offers the restaurant industry an easy compliance tool to meet new Nutritional Publication requirements contained in recently enacted health care legislation.
