Envista Announces Expansion of its Map-Based SaaS Solution

May 02, 2011

Envista Corporation, a provider of enterprise map-based coordination solutions for right-of-way (ROW) management via the Web, announced the launch of its new Web site, envista.com.

The company also expanded its offerings to address the diverse coordination needs of its customers. As a result of customer demands, Envista expanded its Web site to reflect new exciting capabilities.

Envista offers a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) solution for map-based ROW management. Municipalities, utilities, higher education, state and federal government and international entities are increasingly turning to Envista as a cost-effective solution for coordination and planning via the Web, company officials said.

The company redesigned the site to make it easy for visitors to find the information they need on Envista's solutions and services for planning city street projects, utility infrastructure management, event coordination and activities and incidents that occur in the public right-of-way.

“Customers and prospects exploring the world of map-based coordination need a place where they can get relevant information in an easy-to-consume environment,” said Brad Steer, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Envista, in a statement.

“We've organized our new site with multiple logical paths for visitors to get to know Envista and easily navigate to the content they want. As a web-focused enterprise, we see our website as the principle calling card for evangelizing on map-based coordination solutions,” Steer added.

As part of the launch of the new Web site, Envista is offering the first 25 people, who visit the site and request an Envista product demonstration, the chance for a drawing to win an Android (News - Alert) smart phone. The company will announce the result of the draw via Twitter on May 15, 2011.

Envista recently announced that it expanded its innovative Smarter Streets solution suite with a recent update – Envista R2 2010. The product is designed to help all organizations with interest in the public right-of-way to communicate and coordinate more efficiently and effectively.
