Cloud9 Announces Summer'11 Release of SaaS Forecasting and Pipeline Management Solution for Salesforce CRM Customers

The latest release of Cloud9 (News - Alert) services addresses the one-of-its-kind pipeline management process and forecast challenges that the larger sales establishments face. Being a world leader in on-demand pipeline management and sales forecasting solutions, Cloud9’s Summer’11 release is aimed at reducing and handling these challenges. The Cloud9 application tab in the SalesForce CRM system will now enable operation personnel in sales to pre-configure and sort pipeline and forecast views, and then share them with individual sales leaders or sales groups, sales analysts, and sales reps.


Sales operations have now gained a better control over the management and defining of pipeline management and forecasting processes. The user experience that a sales rep or sales leader has to go though has also been simplified, leading to a minimal effort to locating solutions to the forecast and pipeline related questions. High efficiency in forecasting and pipeline processes is maintained by higher level global sales organizations with the Cloud9 feature offering a scalable answer to their issues.

The new features of the forecasting and pipeline process related Cloud9 has been made more accessible by the Summer’11 release of the software. Non-technical sales leaders and sales reps can now access the features faster and easier. Users selecting the Cloud9 tab on the SalesForce CRM view a homepage that contains pre marked bookmarks linking back to solutions for common pipeline management and forecasting questions. Moreover, the bookmarks can be ordered according to the forecasting and pipeline management cadence of the particular organization. This helps the sales organization to focus on most relevant topics during key points of the month, week or quarter. The bookmarks are coded with a New, Updated or Favorite tag (News - Alert) to enhance the experience, and they link back to a preconfigured Cloud9 Pipeline Accelerator view, Cloud9 Commitments, or even Cloud9 Dashboards. 

In a release, the Vice President of products at Cloud9, Mr. Neil Mendelson said that “Cloud9’s Summer’11 Release offers larger sales organizations the means to achieve an entirely new level of forecasting and pipeline management process excellence. latest release addresses our customers’ desire to share their best practices across the entire sales organization, enabling all users to gain insight and take action at the appropriate time throughout their sales cadence.”
