BBH Completes Call Center's Voice, Data Apps Integration into its Cloud Environment
BBH Solutions, a New York City based provider of converged network solutions and IT managed services, has completed cut-over of a national call center’s voice and data applications into its cloud environment.
This integration enables BBH Solutions to continue advancing as a premier provider of cloud hosted voice, data, and video applications in the region.
Simultaneously, the call center operation’s technology infrastructure accommodates several hundred call agents. The system features predictive dialing, call routing, and a number of advanced data services, and supports centers located throughout the United States, said company officials.
Bruce Hoernecke, president and CEO at BBH Solutions, said that each cloud migration has its own nuances, and for this project, the client recognized that they needed a partner that has extensive skill sets with all of the technologies involved in their solution.
“In addition, the burden of redundant power requirements, backup power, cooling, and multi-carrier redundancy all factored into their decision to rely on us to design and engineer this system in our own facility,” Hoernecke said, adding that the company’s ability to provide these services from its data center created an attractive economic driver as well.
Thanks to cloud computing, businesses now have the ability to use secure resources of a service provider to host their technology applications and data storage. Company officials said that applications such as voice-over-Internet telephony (VoIP), video conferencing, email, and office productivity programs are then delivered to end users on demand, or “as-a-service”.
BBH Solutions offers cloud integration and hosting services from its secure, SAS (News - Alert) 70 Type II network operations center (NOC). It provides technology services with a focus on the converged network and unified communications.
Earlier in May, Hoernecke said that it’s now a good time for business owners to reclaim some valuable real estate by taking advantage of cloud computing and hosting for their applications and data.
