Access Northeast Delivers Parthenon Cloud Services to Micronotes
Access Northeast, a provider of data center and managed services in New England, announced it is offering cloud services to Micronotes, a Cambridge, MA-based digital marketing firm servicing the financial sector.
Micronotes leverages Access Northeast's Parthenon Cloud to deliver critical IT services, including the support of production, testing, and development environments for their KulaX technology architecture.
KulaX from Micronotes is a radically productive cross-sell platform for financial institutions that delivers more leads faster.
The company was looking for a hybrid cloud platform capable of connecting their existing physical infrastructure directly to a service provider's cloud. The cloud solution from Access Northeast was able to meet their needs. It provided Micronotes with a physical colocation directly connected via local Ethernet to a Parthenon Cloud virtual node, within the same state-of-the-art data center facility.
Access Northeast's Parthenon Cloud provided Micronotes with a unique cloud solution that was not available from most of their competitors, company officials said.
“Their hybrid design allowed us to take advantage of the technical, operational and financial benefits of their Parthenon Cloud, while still allowing Micronotes to maintain our own physical environment in one of their premium data centers,” said Venkat Rangamani, CTO of Micronotes, in a statement.
“As an emerging company and new startup, the financial and operational benefit of having access to computing power on demand was critical for us to keep focusing upon our rapidly growing digital marketing business,” Rangamani added.
Parthenon Cloud is ideal for startup firms, especially those working with dynamic applications requiring strong testing and development architecture, according to Access Northeast CEO Rob Stephenson.
By outsourcing their infrastructure directly to Access Northeast, Micronotes is now able to service banking customers more efficiently, Stephenson added. “With our custom solution, they get the best of both worlds by combining a physical environment with the high performance, cost effective features of the Parthenon Cloud -- all under a single roof.”
Earlier in April, Access Northeast announced the release of its Parthenon Secure Cloud dedicated service which are designed to help alleviate security concerns for businesses who are wary of migrating important applications to the cloud, yet still desire the benefits of computing scalability, flexibility, cost-efficiency and maximum uptime.
