ClosetMaid Adopts Vision Chain's SaaS Solution to Enhance Sales and Category Management
Vision Chain, Inc. one of the market share leaders in Demand Signal Repository (DSR) as well as predictive analytics solutions recently announced that ClosetMaid will be implementing their Private Cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS (News
- Alert)) solution. ClosetMaid is one of the leading manufacturers of home storage and organization products.
Vision Chain's holistic solution will provide support to ClosetMaid's varied needs. These are in the realm of sales, promotional analysis and category management. On the list of requirements are those in supply chain control and in-store retail execution. Consumption data will be constantly analyzed. This will allow for relevant guidance to be provided for in areas of management and sales as well as in demand forecasting, retail operations, and financial planning.
Products from ClosetMaid can be purchased from home improvement retail outfits and also from a massive network of installation dealers who are present in the home building fraternity.
In a release, Kevin McCurdy, vice president of Sales at Vision Chain said, “We're very pleased that ClosetMaid chose to partner with Vision Chain to continue building on innovation and industry best practices in demand data analytics. Optimizing the use of demand data will create the visibility ClosetMaid seeks to make faster, more informed decisions throughout their retail spectrum.”
The SaaS solution from Vision Chain will be able to handle an analysis of promotions when needed. It will also look into new products, forecasting as well as stock management, and distribution among other agendas. Along with it, field sales representatives from ClosetMaid will be able to have mobile access to analytics that will help them expedite in-store retail execution.
In other news, Vision Chain recently announced that Newell Rubbermaid, a global marketer of consumer and commercial products, is implementing the Vision Chain technology platform to enhance its category management, in-stock, execution, and performance management decisions across its retailer customer base.
