Contact Solutions Joins Hands with InfoVoter to Offer VoterLink for a Smoother Voting Experience
As campaign workers get ready to push their voter base into action all over the country, many of these folks are going to depend on a brand new service that is cloud-based to help to support their efforts on the ground. InfoVoter, is one of the noted leaders across the country that deals with development of election-related technologies.
They have joined hands with Contact Solutions, one of the leading providers of cloud-based contact automation solutions. Together they will deploy VoterLink, a phone-based service that will help ease the process of voting. The VoterLink IVR eliminates any barriers that hold back voters from the process. It rapidly acquires important information and gives valuable feedback all through election time.
Political parties, news-based media as well as foundations, and not-for-profit agencies can create their own branding and customize VoterLink to support the requirements they have. This can be related to target demographics as well as special interests and encourage more people to step forward and vote. It evens provides an option for organizations to choose a vanity number giving easier access to VoterLink services. This can prove useful at every level of the election process.
By way of example – before an election, potential voters will be able to call VoterLink and ask for registration materials. On the day of casting the vote, a voter can call up VoterLink and be able to find the nearest polling booth. This can be done from a residential phone or cell.
In a release, Paul Logan, CEO of Contact Solutions said, “In our society, these types of services are vital to help ensure a fair and equal voting experience, and we are proud to be able to support the process in this way. The Contact Solutions suite of applications that power VoterLink can scale up or down to support national, state, or local elections reliably and economically.”
If a voter has any problems in the course of the process, they will be able to call the VoterLink number and register their complaints. Alternately they can even get their call transferred to regional Boards of Elections offices. Once the election is done, VoterLink will make available a spot for organizations to work at getting feedback on the entire voting experience.
