Kunnect's New Software Grants Remote Agents CRM System Access

January 12, 2012

Cost effectiveness and flexibility are currently the two most sought-after attributes in the call center industry and to keep with the current trends in the industry, Kunnect, a leading provider of cloud-based hosted telephony solutions, has come up with its WebAgent 1.0 software.

Used with the Kunnect XVP Hosted Call Center solution, WebAgent has been designed to increase the flexibility of remote call center agents. The newly launched software, according to its maker, will allow cloud call center agents who work remotely to access their company's CRM system from any Web browser.

Kunnect's XVP Hosted Call Center solution is considered one of the most flexible in the industry. The Amazon cloud-based solution can be activated within an hour or scale to meet any load demands. Integration with CRM software is also not a new feature for Kunnect’s solutions; by expanding the Web browser choices of the remote contact center agents for accessing their company CRM system, the WebAgent now makes the Kunnect solution even more user-friendly. This is expected to result in increased employee productivity, customer service and operational efficiency.

Further, with WebAgent, Kunnect makes it extremely flexible and convenient for its customers, for whom using at- home workers have become essential. An increasing number of organizations today are refraining from offshoring call center services, keeping their business in the U.S. Some of the proposed legislations have fueled the trend. Kunnect claimed in a press release that its WebAgent software will allow companies to offer a high-quality user interaction from a home-based worker. By eliminating the cost of supporting staff at brick-and-mortar facility, the companies will be able to achieve a good amount of savings.

WebAgent replaces Kunnect's current FAT32 User Screen software. No downloads are required: a SIP phone is embedded into the Web page and a small applet is loaded into memory on the agent's computer, Kunnect officials explained.

“Kunnect's WebAgent sets the gold standard for remote, at-home agent call center solutions with its ease of deployment and overall effectiveness. It will help grow our business of providing a superior product to some of the largest automotive websites in the world, including Cars.com and Autobytel (News - Alert),” president of Dealer Dialer, Patrick Gibson, commented in a statement.
