TMC Partners with Streamcore to Offer Managed Network Services

TMC Communications (News - Alert), a telecommunications company, has selected Streamcore to provide application performance management to its enterprise customers.

 

Streamcore is a provider of visibility and performance control solutions to manage application delivery over the WAN. The company’s solutions, when deployed together with TMC’s carrier-partner network, are expected to provide both network and application visibility and control to business customers.

 

Powered by Streamcore, the new advanced application performance data service branded “Titan” will be sold as a managed service, and will enable TMC Communications to provide an advanced data service offering, according to Streamcore officials.

 

TMC Communications says that it is providing its team of agents this advanced data service to sell to their existing base of business customers and to offer to new prospects.

 

By deploying centrally managed Streamcore appliances, Streamcore officials pointed out, TMC agents and their customers will benefit from a variety of granular visibility services and control capabilities, which is aimed at providing automation and adaptability for managing WAN infrastructure and applications performance.

 

Moreover, the services will also include network and application monitoring, reporting with personalized Web portals, performance control such as ABBA and QoS, plus VoIP and video control.

 

Additionally, officials said Streamcore’s application delivery system ensures Service Level Agreements (SLA) for TMC customers.

 

“Businesses are searching for ways to decrease management cost and improve business efficiencies, and Streamcore’s solutions give us the ability to provide application and network performance to ultimately enable businesses to do just that,” said Ron Ireland, president at TMC Communications.

 

Mel Melara, vice president of Service Providers at Streamcore, said that TMC has already begun to take advantage of Streamcore’s strong application management features to build innovative and advanced value-added managed services that will demonstrate their edge over the competitors.

 

“This partnership will strengthen TMC’s data product offerings by providing differentiated and innovative, application-centric data services to benefit,” Melara added.
