Medallia Hires Chief Customer Officer to Lead Expansions and Renewals
Medallia, a provider of SaaS (News - Alert) CEM solutions, has announced it appointed Ken Fine chief customer officer, to handle the company’s entire product and services organization – including product design, program definition, scoping and implementation, customer support, expansions and renewals.
Medallia has been experiencing tremendous growth in the past few years and recently won many new customers including 7-Eleven, Aaron’s, AXA Insurance, Highmark Health Services, Marriott International, Mercedes-Benz USA, Royal Caribbean International and more.
The new CCO will support its operation and bring not only the best customer experience software but also the best customer service.
“Customer experience is as important to us as it is to the companies that use our solutions. As our customer base grows, we must expand our leadership team to match. That is why I am excited that Ken is joining as the company’s first Chief Customer Officer,” CEO Borge Hald said.
Fine has experience in increasing revenue and market leadership for B2B and SaaS companies. Previous to Medallia, Fine was part of Financial Engines, and was managing product, marketing and general management roles as well as nurturing customer growth and success.

Medallia recently gained $20 million in venture funding from Sequoia Capital (News - Alert). This funding helped the company to expand its product line and SaaS facilities in Europe and Asia, as well as increase the core team at the company’s headquarters in Palo Alto (News - Alert) and in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
