Nefos Selects Magic Software's Business, Process Integration Suite

September 25, 2009
Magic Software Enterprises has reportedly partnered with nefos GmbH, a consulting partner of Salesforce.com (News - Alert) located in Zurich, Switzerland.

Under the agreement, nefos will use iBOLT, Magic Software's business and process integration suite to integrate the Salesforce.com on-demand application with their customers' existing on-premise applications.

Nefos supports organizations in planning, implementing and operating on-demand customer relationship solutions on the basis of Salesforce.com. Robert Santner, founding partner and head of consulting services at nefos GmbH, said that iBOLT will allow nefos to complete their integration projects significantly faster than before.

“For our customers this means more value from their Salesforce.com investment, which they can realize quicker,” Santner said in a statement.

While using SaaS (News - Alert) applications like Salesforce.com clients often find it difficult to transfer data from these on-demand solutions to on-premise systems. They also have problems defining workflows between the two, said Stephan Romeder, general manager for Magic Software Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

“IBOLT integrates Salesforce.com into any IT landscape without having to develop a dedicated interface or deal with hard coding,” Romeder said in a statement.

The iBOLT code-free approach helps both simple and complex business processes be designed and implemented quickly and easily. It also makes it more cost-efficient to assimilate and integrate future IT application acquisitions. The solution can work natively with many systems such as SAP Business One, Oracle JD Edwards, and IBM (News - Alert) applications and databases (AS/400).

Magic Software Enterprises is a global provider of multiple-mode application platform solutions and business and process integration solutions. Earlier this month, the company signed a contract with KLAFS, a European manufacturer of saunas, spas and wellness installations for private and commercial use.

KLAFS will build a product configurator based upon uniPaaS’ rich Internet application platform. They also intend to integrate the data from the product configurator with the company’s existing SAP (News - Alert) R/3 ERP system using iBOLT business and process integration suite.
