OnState Teams Up with Bandwidth.com to Offer the Cloud Call Center

December 15, 2009
As the demand for on-demand call centers picks up, OnState Communications has teamed up with Bandwidth.com (News - Alert), a nationwide data and CLEC voice provider to offer its clients a fully on-demand call center solution. According to OnState officials, this new facility will make use of Bandwidth.com's FlexNetwork.

Bandwidth.com's FlexNetwork makes use of its nationwide CLEC footprint that can serve-up phone numbers, or “DIDs,” virtually anywhere in the United States. The solution is available for voice origination and termination in the entire United States. The solution provides separate signaling and audio facilities for reliability & flexibility.

Already, the partnership between Bandwidth.com and OnState (News - Alert) has benefited Cognex Corp., a provider of vision-based inspection, guidance and identification systems. Cognex officials said that the OnState cloud-based call center solution has helped the company in offering reliable, high-quality solution in its multiple office locations. OnState's call center solutions on Bandwidth's FlexNetwork is available immediately in the form of a resilient, pay-as-you-go SaaS (News - Alert) model.

“Our business presence communications allow companies to improve customer collaboration by intelligently connecting customers to the employee who can best serve them at any moment regardless of where the employee happens to be or what type of device they are using,” Pat Kelly, CEO of OnState Communications, said. “By utilizing Bandwidth.com's nationwide all-IP FlexNetwork, we are able to offer a robust virtual call center software solution.”

With separate signaling and audio facilities for reliability and flexibility, Bandwidth's FlexNetwork is architected with full geographic redundancy. The FlexNetwork is highly useful for Internet-enabled, voice 2.0 applications like OnState's business presence communications systems. The FlexNetwork, by Bandwidth, is a 100 percent IP voice network that is purpose-built for business voice communications.

Recently, the company announced new features as part of its latest release that include the addition of OnState Mobile, real-time account tracking on a centralized dashboard and SIP phone support. The addition of OnState Mobile extends OnState's virtual PBX and virtual call center capabilities to iPhone (News - Alert) and BlackBerrys. This allows call center managers to view account information on a centralized dashboard.
