Cbeyond Adds Virtual Receptionist to its Suite of Productivity Enhancing Applications

Cbeyond (News - Alert), Inc., a provider of communications and IT solutions to small businesses, reportedly announced the addition of Virtual Receptionist to its suite of productivity-enhancing applications.

 
Virtual Receptionist is capable of professionally answering calls and routing customer inquiries. It also enables ongoing connectivity which will help elevate a small business’ brand.
 
The service will be hosted in the Cbeyond cloud enabling a small business to subscribe to the service. It helps run the business without concerns for platform investment, availability, security and reliability, said company sources.
 
The Virtual Receptionist features a text-to-speech interface which is easily installable. Its features are designed to help small businesses in their daily operations and make them more productive. The system routes incoming calls to the person or department the caller wants to reach. It also provides the caller with pre-recorded information, based on a schedule.
 
Dial-by-name company directory, driving directions, hours of operation, voicemail integration and unlimited scheduling options are available in the Virtual Receptionist application. These help automate and simplify small business operations. Employee productivity is improved besides enhancing the ability of customer and prospect facing personnel.

Todd Michaels, a Cbeyond customer and owner of RhinoTech, a manufacturer of products for the screen printing industry explained that from the easy setup to the customized feature set, Cbeyond’s Virtual Receptionist has helped his small business run smoothly. He said that the solution helps by allowing employees to focus on the business’ core capabilities.
 
Cbeyond offers more than 30 productivity-enhancing applications including local and long-distance voice, broadband Internet, mobile, BlackBerry (News - Alert), broadband laptop access, voicemail, e-mail, web hosting, fax-to-e-mail, data backup, file-sharing and virtual private networking.
