Partner and Customer Momentum Trigger Record Growth for SugarCRM

The fiscal year ending December 31, 2010 proved to be an amazing year for SugarCRM as it recorded

immense growth in terms of customer and billings in Q4 2010. Company officials claimed that this was enough to prove that organizations, regardless of size, were opting for flexible, intuitive and open solutions from a trusted source rather than for the traditional proprietary restrictive CRM solutions.


Many factors such as partner and customer momentum also combined to fuel the growth of SugarCRM (News - Alert). The year 2010 saw the company adding more than 100 new channel and consulting partners, many of which were leading firms. Its Gold Partner Levementum delivered more than $1 million in annual billings to SugarCRM in 2010 and Doug Guilbeau, managing director at Levementum had no hesitation in talking about the success with Sugar, which he claimed was a true partnership. Together, he added, they had been able to provide powerful, flexible, open solutions for customers and both companies were dedicated to helping implement both traditional and inventive approaches to relationship management.

The scenario on the customer front was no different as SugarCRM added nearly 600 customers only in Q4 2010, while the overall figure was more than 2,200 for the whole year. The new customers were all leading organizations representing different sectors of the industry spectrum. Bev Brisebois,   SugarCRM administrator at GEEP Global voiced the opinion of many in industry when he said that SugarCRM was a great tool that allowed companies to collaborate and share information worldwide. Even from an IT perspective, SugarCRM was easy to manage and customize. Its numerous resources for training had versions that were convenient for mobile users on the go.

Sugar 6, a milestone release for SugarCRM capped the company’s record for 2010.Its industry-leading user experience, social CRM capabilities and user-friendly customization and personalization tools have won unequivocal acclaim. In addition, SugarCRM also expanded its leadership position in mobile CRM with the release of Sugar Mobile for iPhone (News - Alert), raising the bar for user experience with ease of use and robust features.
