Convergys to Build Fourth Facility in Cebu City, Philippines
Convergys Corporation, a global player in relationship management, has decided to expand again by opening a fourth state-of-the-art facility in Cebu City.

- Alert) site is operational, the company will operate 15 facilities throughout the country - eight in Metro Manila, four in Cebu City, and one each in Bacolod City, Santa Rosa, Laguna, and Baguio City.
“The largest BPO provider in Cebu City and in the Philippines is getting even bigger,” said Marife Zamora, Philippines country manager and managing director, Asia Pac/EMEA for Convergys, in a statement.
“Our continued growth is due to the extraordinary support provided by our employees in Cebu and throughout the Philippines to our major international clients. This type of unrivaled service is why our clients continue to specifically request the Philippines as the location for their critical customer support operations and why we continue to meet and exceed our client's expectations every day,” said Zamora.
TMCnet in October reported that Convergys Corporation has added new tools to its Relationship Technology Management channel partner program, expanding support for its partners with new training discounts, sales tools, co-marketing programs, and demo systems.
These new enhancements are already in place and are available to all solution providers globally that have signed a Relationship Technology Management reseller agreement with Convergys.
Earlier in 2010, Convergys standardized its technical training discounts to move all Relationship Technology Management resellers toward a more comprehensive technical portfolio of Intelligent Automation. The discounts are the highest ever and have proven to be effective, driving over 100 percent growth in attendance through the first half of 2010.
In addition to the technical training discounts, partners are also able to access a library of on-demand courses, including both a technical and sales training curriculum. Finally, Convergys launched Sales Boot Camps to lead Relationship Technology Management partners through an in-depth study of its Intelligent Automation solutions.
Convergys revamped its sales and marketing hub to include 300 percent more information. The new Relationship Technology Management partner repository houses a competitive communicator, market landscape analysis, price change notifications, and a range of sales positioning, discovery, and ROI tools.
