The Sales Performance Management (SPM) Company Callidus Software (News
- Alert) Inc recently announced the launch of a next-generation coaching application for mobile devices. Called MySalesCoach, the application is based on Callidus ForceLogix SalesForce Optimizer and will be available on the iPad and Android (News - Alert) platforms in the second quarter of 2011.
Through a press release, Callidus Software announced that the new coaching application is designed to enable sales people to apply real time coaching to their daily sales situations wherever they are. The company claimed that based on the Callidus Mobile Platform , MySalesCoach app will deliver a fast, easy user experience to offer pervasive coaching throughout the sales organization and help the companies build up high-performance sales forces.
It is important for the organizations to align sales force and channels with the key business objectives to achieve the sales targets. The new application, according to its maker, allows sales users to easily collaborate on deals as they occur, in the context of deal engagements. It also allows to synchronize Field-based observations to the on demand ForceLogix SalesForce Optimizer technology. The location aware application enables users to track sessions based on location, territory, and customer. This helps to improve the productivity of the sales teams.
“Coaching is most impactful when it is done within the context of day-to-day business activities. With MySalesCoach, sales managers can identify and coach on winning strategies on-the-spot, on-the-go. This increases the effectiveness of coaching programs so the sales team can effectively execute campaigns and win more business,” Rory Cameron, vice president of alliances and corporate development at Callidus Software, explained in a statement.
In 2009 Callidus unveiled a pair of applications designed to track objectives and quotas.
The company touted its new Software-as-a-Service offerings as a way to measure employee productivity at a critical time.
