Demand for Virtual Business Processes Leads to Alpine Access Expansion

May 09, 2011

It is always uplifting to learn of business growth and the creation of new jobs, especially when the drone of the opposite news is so prevalent in so many sectors. In Denver, Colo., that high is not coming solely from the altitude today but from news emanating from the contact center sector.

Alpine Access, which provides virtual contact center solutions and services, announced today that it is opening a new Technology & Operational Excellence Lab that it says will complement its downtown Denver headquarters by providing a location dedicated to driving innovation, improving operational efficiencies and supporting its extensive technology infrastructure. The new facility will also create 50 new jobs.

Alpine Access cited spiking demand for its virtual call center services from Fortune 500 companies along with its recent expansion into Canada as two reasons why it felt the need to open this 22,000 square-foot facility, which is located in the North Denver Technology Center area.

It will be used to house the foundational operations of the company which include IT and security, business intelligence and analytics, and continuous improvement process management, as well as support operations for Alpine Access’s more than 5,000 home-based customer care professionals.

Christopher M. Carrington, president and CEO of Alpine Access, commented on the expansion by saying, "Our ability to bring the value of the at-home model to a wide-range of industries has led to incredible growth and we anticipate even further success over the next few years. The company currently employs over 520 Coloradoans and is seeking another 50 extraordinary professionals to immediately join the Alpine Access team."

The company says it continues to “transform how and where the world works and learns.” It reports that its virtual business processes include outsourced home-based contact center solutions, SaaS (News - Alert)-based e-learning capabilities, a virtual recruiting platform and consulting services.

The Director of Communications for the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Matt Cheroutes, said not only that Alpine Access “is a perfect example of the entrepreneurial spirit we have in our great state," but also that “this company is proof that with vision, persistence and teamwork, success is achievable."

In other news, TMCnet reported Alpine Access registered a 77 percent increase in revenue in the first quarter of 2011 as compared to Q1 2010 – the company's second-straight quarter of more than 50 percent growth.
