SoundBite Recognized as Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan

SoundBite Communications (News - Alert), a provider of cloud-based, multi-channel, proactive customer communications solutions, has been recognized with the 2011 North American Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) Company of the Year Award.


The award recognizes SoundBite’s position in the Proactive Customer Communications (PCC) applications market. According to the research agency, SoundBite has a strong and consistent track record of introducing innovative technologies which enable organizations to leverage proactive (outbound) communications to create long-term profitable relationships with consumers.

SoundBite  has emerged as the only leading global provider of hosted, interactive multi-channel PCC using any combination of voice, text and e-mail messaging and predictive dialing.

“This transformation has enabled SoundBite to become a leading PCC solution provider for the full consumer lifecycle – from marketing to customer care to payments, collections and risk management across many markets,” Dawson added.

SoundBite offers a secure, scalable, multi-tenant hosted platform that provides clients with a dual benefit. First, they need no investment in hardware, software and infrastructure. Second, they earn maximum lifetime value as the hosted model provides the flexibility to meet the rapidly evolving communications needs of many organizations.

Client administration is accessed using a self-service Web interface for designing, executing and optimizing communication campaigns.

Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development.

In its first quarter 2011 financial results, SoundBite reported net loss of $1.5 million for the first quarter of 2011, or a net loss per share of $0.09, versus a net loss of $1.1 million in the first quarter of 2010 or a net loss per share of $0.07.
