Value Matrix for CRM Released by Nucleus Research
Nucleus Research, a global provider of investigative, case-based technology research and advisory services that offer real-world insight into maximizing technology value recently released the 1H2011 Technology Value Matrix for CRM.
The Value Matrix from Nucleus Research makes an evaluation on CRM applications based on their ability to deliver value to customers based on functionality and usability. Both these factors have been determined by Nucleus to be the core factors that determine an application’s ability to push both initial time to value and ongoing return on investment (ROI).
In a release, Rebecca Wettemann, vice president of research at Nucleus Research said that, “As CRM competition continues to heat up, organizations are looking for a vendor’s ability to quickly deliver value, as well as an application’s potential ROI over time. The Matrix identifies the vendors that are best positioned today to provide both initial and ongoing value for their clients.”
Based on strong functionality and usability, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce.com (News
- Alert) scored the highest on the Matrix. Nucleus also reported that some of the solutions that remained had superior functionality or usability in specific application areas and must not be ignored in the CRM evaluation process.
Organizations will be able to make use of the Value Matrix to assess their CRM investment short list and also perform an evaluation to determine the need for maintaining an existing solution that might be currently offering less value when compared to what is on offer in the current market. Nucleus Research also produces Value Matrix reports in major enterprise software categories every six months.
