AltiGen Communications, a provider of integrated Microsoft-based Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions, announced that Alexander Open Systems (AOS) will offer AltiGen Communication's mobility and contact center solutions for Microsoft Lync Server 2010.
The company will also offer AltiGen's (News

AOS supports many customers across 11 states. The company has already done more than 700 Voice over IP (VoIP) deployments. A Microsoft (News

“We have invested over $3,000,000 in building our Microsoft Lync practice,” said Mitch Roberson, vice president of Microsoft Practice at AOS, in a statement. “On staff we also have a Microsoft Certified Master on Microsoft Lync Server 2010, of which there are currently just 17 in the world.”
Before selecting AltiGen Communications, AOS reviewed all available smart phone applications and contact center solutions that integrate with Microsoft Lync Server 2010. It selected AltiGen based on the quality and completeness of the applications.
“AOS will provide significant presence for us in the Midwest,” said Mike Plumer, vice president of Sales, AltiGen. “The company has a great reputation and has demonstrated repeated success in providing corporations end-to-end solutions.”
Recently, AltiGen Communications announced that its new iFusion SmartStation for iPhone will be available through KPN (News - Alert), a telecommunications and ICT service provider in The Netherlands.
