Newgen Software Implements Solution at Dubai Bank
Newgen Software, the market leader in Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content management (ECM), recently announced the successful implementation of its advanced e-statement solution in one of the Middle-East’s largest banks.
Newgen announced its Omni Output Management System (02MS) has been implemented in Dubai Bank, a leading Sharia’a compliant bank in the Middle East.
This implementation is intended to ease cross channel communications between the bank and its customers by streamlining and standardizing the entire process of statement creation and publishing of variable data for distribution. As a complete Output Management System, the Newgen solution has been designed to generate electronic statements at par with their physical equivalent.
The implementation of 02MS will enable Dubai Bank to provide its customers with a consolidated statement which reflects all account relationships in a convenient, secure and timely manner.
With this solution in place, the bank will be able to send statements through electronic channels, enforce the brand guidelines, integrate with Internet banking and customer relationship management solution, and produce a single consolidated statement for multiple products. Dubai bank’s CTO Faizal Eledath said the initiative is in line with the bank’s commitment to be less paper dependent and more eco-friendly.
Providing an effective channel for targeted marketing and cross selling, the solution is also intended to reduce manpower and overhead costs. More importantly, the solution is expected to enhance customer convenience and satisfaction by reducing the turn-around time.

Last month, Newgen Software Technologies announced successful implementation of Loan Approval, Leave Application and General Communication processes at the Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank Ltd. (EDCB), the leading District Central Co-operative Bank in Kerala with over 54 branches in Ernakulam District with Head Office located at Kakkand, Kochi. The entire solution was implemented and executed at the EDCB head office situated in Cochin and its branches in two phases.
