Convergys Hiring 225 Agents in Cincinnati Metro Area

Outsourced call center services provider Convergys (News - Alert) Corporation announced this morning that it has begun hiring in the Cincinnati metro area. The company, which is headquartered in Cincinnati, is seeking to fill 225 agent positions at its state-of-the-art contact center in Erlanger, Kentucky. The new jobs are for customer service/sales or technical support agents who will provide service to Convergys clients in a variety of industries.

The company has said that about 20 of the slots will be for work at home agents after the completion of on-site training.Convergys is inviting interested candidates to attend an on-site Recruitment Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26 at its facility at 1101 Pacific Avenue in the Circleport II Business Park in Erlanger, Kentucky.

“New business and the growth of current client programs have resulted in new employment opportunities for job seekers in the Greater Cincinnati area,” said Debra Arthur, recruitment manager for the Convergys contact center in Erlanger. “We’re also hiring for a few Full Account Management positions that feature a higher pay rate, bonus incentives, and a set weekday schedule with no evening or weekend shifts,” she added.

Requirements for the work-at-home positions include a quiet place to work inside the home, a PC that meets Convergys’ minimum standards, high-speed Internet access, and a headset, says the company.

Potential Convergys employees should possess solid customer service and sales experience, strong computer and keyboarding skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Employment with Convergys also is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening. The company offers employees competitive wages, paid comprehensive training, and benefits including medical and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), and paid and unpaid time off.
