Constant Contact MarketPlace Gains Popularity among Small Organizations

Constant Contact (News - Alert) announced that its MarketPlace, a huge collection of mobile apps and social integrations, has been accessed by over 100,000 small organizations since its launch a year ago. It also offers assistance from marketing experts to help small businesses and nonprofits maximize their marketing efforts.


According to company sources the MarketPlace is a one-stop shop that benefits any small business, nonprofit, or organization looking for business apps, integrations, and marketing experts.

Rick Jensen, chief sales and marketing officer for Constant Contact said in a release, “No other small business ecosystem can match our focus or depth.”

“We work with more than 450,000 small organizations and 8,000 partners worldwide. This reach, combined with the fact that we have three times more awareness among small business owners than any other email marketing provider, makes us the best choice for developers, ISVs, and technology partners looking to reach the small business market,” Jensen added.

It was highlighted that about 80 percent of MarketPlace visitors, were interested in business apps and integrations and 20 percent were interested in business services. Data regarding site traffic reveal that the top three technology integration problems that they were desirous to address were mobile, social media, and CRM.

This increase in technology interest among small organizations has encouraged developers to offer greater numbers and variety in integrated apps available in the MarketPlace, said officials.

Jensen further added that there was a 125 percent increase in third party app usage in the first half of 2011. The major apps that small businesses prefer include the ones that allow more insights from their Facebook page, iPhone (News - Alert), and Wordpress blog, besides including apps related to synching data with their CRM system.

Company officials added that the AppConnect and MarketPlace programs from Constant Contact benefits clients through the combined technology, sales, and distribution capabilities it offers. The AppConnect platform helps application developers, ISVs, and technology partners to easily integrate their applications and services with Constant Contact’s marketing tools.

TMCnet reported that Results Software, a provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and business management solutions has announced that it has integrated its Results CRM solution with Constant Contact e-mail marketing solution.
