TMOne To Open Inbound and Outbound Call Center in Spearfish, South Dakota
TMOne, which calls itself the “most nimble BPO Firm in America,” has announced that it has chosen Spearfish, South Dakota as a location for a new 500-seat inbound and outbound call center to serve its clients.
The new inbound and outbound call center will provide TMOne clients – many of them Fortune 1000 companies – with inbound and outbound call center customer service, e-commerce, first-party collections services and telephone account management interactions
TMone has said that it will begin the hiring process late this month with an initial 50 hires. Live operations will begin in September. Ultimately, the company plans to staff the center to capacity, with a total of 500 agents.
Jason Hall, TMone’s CEO, said the company is looking for employees with advanced call center skills, management skills, and experience with an aptitude for turning service calls into sales opportunities. He further notes that TMone is committed to delivering the same excellent client experience, customer satisfaction and results as it provided to its very first client almost nine years ago.
“Our employees help our clients build relationships and clearly identify customer needs,” said Hall. “We know these skill sets exist in the Spearfish area workforce, and we’re excited to continue growing our footprint in beautiful western South Dakota.”
The news is likely making the town of Spearfish happy. The new call center will be located in a building that was formerly occupied by a call center serving Premier Bankcard. When that call center shut down in mid-July after 10 years at the location, it laid off 330 call center agents, according to local newspaper Rapid City Journal.
TMOne should have an easy time in hiring experienced call center agents, said Bryan Walker, executive director of Spearfish Economic Development Corp., since the former Premier Bankcard agents are experienced in call center operations and many are likely still looking for jobs.
“The Premier Bankcard work force was incredibly talented,” Walker said.
