German Operator Goes Live with Convergys Solution
Telekom Deutschland's wireline subscribers have gone live on a state-of-the-art Convergys (News
- Alert) Smart Revenue Solution.
Telekom Deutschland is the German operating company of Deutsche Telekom AG (News - Alert) and Convergys specializes in relationship management.
Both companies are collaborating on a major, multiphase BSS project that involves migration of telecommunications provider’s legacy billing system to a new Convergys Smart Revenue Solution that includes Rating and Billing Manager.
T-Systems (News - Alert) was the system integrator for both phases of the project. Convergys was responsible for providing on-site technical consultancy, product expertise, and management support.
For this project, Convergys also implemented over 25 new features in Rating and Billing Manager for Telekom Deutschland.
Convergys notes that its Smart Revenue Solutions have the ability to support convergent services and leverage real-time marketing innovation. The solutions help to minimize risk, reduce operational costs, and generate revenue so that Covergys clients can focus on building valuable relationships with their customers.
Work has progressed considerably and Telekom Deutschland's wireline customers have already moved to the new Convergys Smart Solution.
