MyAssist Offers Live Agent Services to Victims of Natural Disaster
Moving along almost 1,100 miles of U.S. coastline, Hurricane Irene left its terrible impact as devastation ranged from North Carolina to Vermont. Millions had to be evacuated and MyAssist provided a unique live-agent personal assistance and telematics service to empower, protect and offer assistance to those who were affected by the hurricane.

- Alert) and Android mobile applications. It can also be used from any mobile device and land line.
Flavell elaborating on the services that MyAssist provided added, "People who have lost power, are in need of supplies, find themselves stranded or in danger can call us to find out how to move to a safe location, arrange for transportation or contact family members. We are here 24/7 to provide a live connection to safety."
Using its vast network of international connections, MyAssist and its parent company, Noel Group, have in the past offered services during 9-11 Pacific Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and last year's earthquake in Haiti, where it helped to safely evacuate children from Haiti to the U.S.
TMCnet reported that MyAssist had been chosen to provide live operator assistance to Ford Motor Company's SYNC Services registered users by sending directions directly to the vehicle and access information databases to help drivers get where they are going.
