Kenexa Leverages LinkedIn to Help Candidates and Hiring Companies Save Time and Money
Kenexa is a leading global provider of business solutions for human resources. The company recently announced details of its partnership with LinkedIn (News - Alert). The company’s integrations with LinkedIn will now assist candidates throughout the job application process and will also help recruiters speed up their work and be more productive in processing these candidates. Future product releases from Kenexa, will see the incorporation of these new tools.
The announcement was made at LinkedIn's Talent Connect conference. The companies have been collaborating since August 2011. LinkedIn currently has over 135 million members across the globe and is the world's largest professional network on the Internet. The portal is a rich resource for corporate recruiters, giving them the option of not only identifying candidates but also keep track of when candidates change elements of their profiles on LinkedIn.
Since most job application forms are long, candidates often get bored and lose patience and do not complete the form or submit an incomplete form which results in a percentage of application abandonment. When the “Apply with LinkedIn" technology is leveraged, Kenexa candidates will be able to directly apply by making use of the profile they have created on LinkedIn as their official job application. This process improvement will result in a better conversion and ensure that a higher percentage of candidates will apply for these job openings by making use of their existing LinkedIn profiles. The "Apply with LinkedIn" feature will also ensures data consistency.
In a release, Eric Lochner, President, Global Talent Management, Kenexa, said, "Like LinkedIn, Kenexa is committed to accelerating the benefits of social recruiting for our global clients. We want to focus on saving time and money for the hiring company and ensuring a positive candidate experience for the talent."
