High-Speed Internet Service from Frontier in Northwest Indiana
High-Speed Internet from Frontier Communications is now accessible by consumers and businesses in newly launched markets in northwest Indiana. Apart from email and quick download of movies, consumers and businesses will be able to share photos or video with friends and family with this high-speed Internet. They will also be able to create their own Internet content.
High-Speed Internet equipment was recently installed at Frontier’s telephone switching facilities in the area by Frontier technicians. Greater broadband access has been therefore made available by Frontier Communications to eligible consumers in Porter and La Porte Counties. Homes in the vicinity of Chesterton and Valparaiso in Porter County and La Porte in La Porte County have been provided these services.
In a release, Mary Miller, GM, northwest Indiana Market Area at Frontier Communications, said, “Frontier High-Speed Internet service provides a tremendous value for consumers who want consistently reliable broadband service from a local provider they can trust. Access to broadband is a critical link for education, safety and information, and Frontier High-Speed Internet offers a wide range of products to meet the different broadband needs for homes and businesses across northwest Indiana.”
According to Miller, Frontier is committed to deploying broadband to unserved and underserved areas. Miller added that Frontier always keeps its commitments.
An extensive array of features and services are accessible to Frontier High-Speed Internet subscribers. These include Frontier RescueTech Remote, online backup, and virus and spyware protection with Frontier Secure Personal Security Plus. Other features and services include Frontier email; online gaming; Internet television via myfitv.com; and more. Highly trained technicians will complete all the in-home installation on-site. Customers unfamiliar with basics of computer usage are also trained by these technicians.
A dedicated line from Frontier’s central switching office to the customer’s home or business is used to deliver Frontier High-Speed Internet service. Live, 24x7 100 percent U.S.-based customer service and technical support are also available from Frontier. Residents and businesses located within approximately three miles of the location of the company’s high-speed equipment can avail this service.
