Merkle, a customer relationship marketing firm that designs, executes and evaluates Integrated Customer Marketing programs for its clients, has announced that it has been honored with the Silver award at the 2011 NCDM Database Excellence Awards Luncheon & Ceremony, within the business-to-business marketing category. The company was selected for this award on the basis of the excellent level of services it offered to Schneider Electric (News - Alert), a well known company working in the energy management sector.

With emphasis upon “Engaging Customers Using Data and Technology,” the 2011 NCDM Database Excellence Awards aim at recognizing the enterprises that have successfully been engaging their customers using data and technology and have also continuously been enhancing the quality of marketing programs.
With its partnership with Merkle, Schneider Electric was able to develop an advanced enterprise CRM database. Other aspects of the comprehensive procedure comprised of data quality analysis, international and domestic data sourcing, data cleansing, international merge/purge, analytical services, CRM strategy, database design and modification, systems design, process design and change management consultation as well.
“The solutions that we are providing to Schneider Electric represent a wide variety of the database and CRM tools that Merkle has to offer the global marketplace,” commented Joseph Colletti, vice president of database solutions for Analytici, a Merkle Company. “We are proud to be recognized by the NCDM as a leader in providing b-to-b and consumer-focused customer relationship marketing solutions that help our international clients maximize the value of their customer portfolios.”
In September 2011, Waterfall Mobile, provider of enterprise messaging for mobile and social CRM, announced to enter a partnership with Merkle. Under the partnership, Merkle had to leverage the Waterfall Mobile Msgme platform to employ mobile and social media messaging to effectively enhance its digital marketing services.
