Fishbowl Launches Web-Based Pipeline Contact Manager
Fishbowl Enterprise is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for SMBs. The company recently announced the launch of Pipeline Contact Manager, a web-based CRM product that will enable small business to integrate its Fishbowl Inventory software with the new CRM tool.
The company is offering a discounted price on the new software for a selected period of time.
Pipeline is fully integrated with Fishbowl Inventory 2012. This means that businesses do not require any third-party integration and implementation of Pipeline. Customers of Fishbowl now have the option to launch Pipeline immediately and experience the immediate benefits of the software as it removes the need for double entry of customer information.
In a release, Fishbowl CEO David K. Williams said "The Pipeline offering is the result of feedback from our customers, who listed CRM as their single most desired new functionality for Fishbowl Inventory 2012.” Williams also confirmed that salespeople will be able to leverage this new integration to access real time contact information that is essential to them as it helps them generate sales from any location without having to switch systems in the middle of a deal.
Some of the key features of the Pipeline Contact Manager are lead tracking; web-based software;
task and opportunity tracking; direct integration with Fishbowl Inventory that allows it to be up and running immediately with no third-party integration or implementation required; custom fields and SOAP API.
Small Business Computing's Pam Baker said in the January 24 review that "This [Fishbowl Inventory 2012] product is ideal for small businesses and smaller-end mid-market businesses with basic to complex inventory and asset tracking needs."
Williams went on to say that the Pipeline Contact Manager has been designed to be a "clean and lean" product keeping in line with the overall Fishbowl's strategy.
