transcosmos Inc., which launched operations in Japan in 1966, has reportedly become a byword in providing overall IT outsourcing services globally.
It plans to become the "Global IT Partner" for its corporate clients and took a small step in that direction by expanding its existing call center base MCM center in Fukuoka to cater to expanding business needs.
Fukuoka is said to be the largest city in the Kyushu region, and is home to many major companies across a wide area of the industry.
Established in 2008, the MCM center in Fukuoka provided a number of call center services with a special focus on the finance, communications, manufacturing and mail order industries. It steadily grew its operations and continued to add more work stations to keep pace with business expansion.
In the process, it acquired a great deal of technical expertise and enhanced its resources considerably. It also kept pace with advances made in technology, and enhanced the competitive strength of its corporate clients by providing them with high value-added and superior services.
transcosmos is stated to have the nation's largest network of call centers, including 23 bases and over 12,000 work stations. The recent expansion will make MCM Center Fukuoka the fifth-largest call center in the country.
Of course transcosmos has great plans for the future, and wants to focus on technical support. In the meantime, it will strive to meet the increase in demand from client companies, enhance its own facilities and services, hire new employees and create jobs for the local communities.
