On Monday, the service center for Sky Deutschland opened for business in Teltow, Germany. Serco, an international service company, has taken on a range of customer services for Sky Deutschland, which has included the set up and the expansion of the new center in Germany.

For Serco, the new center in Germany is its latest development that followed with the formation of its Global Business Outsourcing company that serves over 150 customers in over 10 countries and employees over 50,000 people.

Serco is operating the service center in Germany and are in full charge of operating inbound frontline services as well as back office and specialist support that will deliver a more customer centric approach.

The Managing Director of Service Serco Global Services, Jerry Benson states, “We are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading and innovative brand such as Sky. We will bring our substantial experience in the transformation of customer contact services to deliver tangible improvement for Sky and its customers in Germany and Austria”.

He also feels that Sky Deutschland will become more competitive in the market place from his company aiding in the implementation of Sky’s customer contact strategy.

EVP and Operations at Sky Deutschland in an interview said, ““With the opening of our new service centre in Teltow, we have equipped our customer service for the future. The service centre is not only good for creating jobs; it’s also the next step in making our customer service even better and meeting the constantly-rising demand for Sky’s products.”

All across Germany and throughout a large percentage of Australian household Sky Deutschland’s channels can be received, and even though in Germany they are in a tough market the company is expected to be profitable this year on an operating level.
