LiquidPlanner recently announced that its project management software can now seamlessly integrates with Salesforce.com's (News - Alert) powerful online customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The company confirmed that Salesforce.com users will now be able to download the free LiquidPlanner (News - Alert) app for Salesforce from the AppExchange marketplace, which will enable them to create and monitor projects in LiquidPlanner from within the Salesforce interface.
LiquidPlanner are the developers behind this priority-based, predictive project management solution. Back in 2012, LiquidPlanner introduced its first integration with Box.com for accessing cloud-based documents and files and more recently added integrations with Google (News - Alert) Drive and Dropbox.
The new LiquidPlanner app for Salesforce.com offers a number of benefits for Salesforce.com users and project teams. Some of these benefits include streamlined opportunity management where new sales opportunities are qualified and scheduled, planning for a new project can begin directly from the Salesforce.com interface and enhanced workload visibility and resource planning which enables project teams to get quicker visibility into upcoming work, so managers can make sure resources are lined up and work is prioritized appropriately.
In a statement, Liz Pearce, CEO of LiquidPlanner said, "For many of our customers, Salesforce.com serves as the primary hub for tracking potential project work, such as consulting engagements, custom software development, or advertising campaigns. As teams get closer to closing deals, they need to prep their project teams for upcoming work, and once the project is in flight they need up-to-the minute status information. The LiquidPlanner integration provides all those things to help bridge the gap between sales and project teams."
Some of the additional benefits include important details such as project deadlines, milestones and budget can be captured and transferred to the project team by the salesperson who sold the deal and finally improved cross-team visibility which offers critical project data such as milestone status, the amount of work that's been done, and expected delivery dates are available to anyone on your team that has a Salesforce.com account.
