In a recent press release, Sage North America announced that Ovum (News - Alert) has rated Sage CRM as a challenger on the Ovum Decision Matrix for customer relationship management, an index that evaluates tier-one CRM solutions for enterprises and identifies the leaders and challengers in the CRM solutions market.
The officials from Ovum said that the Sage CRM feature set and roadmap meet the contemporary CRM requirements. Also, Sage native apps like Sage CRM Sales Lite for iPhone and Sage CRM Sales Tracker for Windows 8, are good for the long-term growth of the company.
Jeremy Cox (News - Alert), principal analyst at Ovum, said that Sage has reacted well to the needs of the market and has simplified the application and delivered compelling user experience with a focus on mobile devices (tablets and smartphones).
"Overall there is little to argue about Sage CRM's applicability in the target market. Analysis of survey results indicates that Sage CRM is widely recognized in the sub-1,000 employee market, both in EMEA and North America," Cox added.
Speaking on the products by Sage CRM, Cox said: "The products offer competitive functionality and a good price-performance proposition, and should be considered as part of the technology-selection process."
