Acroprint Time Recorder Company, a provider of workforce management solutions, has unveiled new workforce management suite ideal for all types of businesses.
The new Pendulum workforce management solution consists of three editions- Standard, Premium and Enterprise.
Built on Microsoft’s (News - Alert) latest development platform, the software features new functionality such as PC Punch with optional biometric fingerprint identification to enhance database integrity and security.
The Standard Edition is designed for small and mid-sized companies of all types. The software accommodates one administrative user and up to 300 employees, with upgrades available to expand system capacity to as many as five administrative users and 500 employees. It can handle up to 15 shifts or schedules.
The Premium Edition is designed for companies that need job costing or where employees transfer among multiple departments or work groups. In addition to the features of the Standard Edition, the Premium Edition includes signal control and access control/employee lockout modules. The solution initially accommodates up to 500 employees and one to five administrative users, and can be upgraded to support up to 10 administrative users and up to 1,000 employees.
The Enterprise Edition is ideal for larger companies and those with more complex work rules. It starts at 10 administrative users and 1,000 employees and can be upgraded to support unlimited administrative users and unlimited employees. The solution delivers all features of the Standard and Premium editions, including full functionality and all optional modules.
In addition to the three editions, Pendulum optional modules are available to expand system functionality. Businesses can upgrade easily, quickly and seamlessly from one edition to the next as they require, without the need to install an entirely new system, re-enter data or learn a new interface.
Pendulum can calculate employee work time and export data to third-party payroll services or software, eliminating clerical errors and saving time and money on payroll processing. The three editions offer many data-collection options, including support for badge terminals (magnetic stripe or barcode) and biometric terminals (fingerprint or hand geometry).
Additional features of Pendulum include a convenient PC-punch option that allows employees to clock in and out using any networked computer. PC-Punch also works with convenient Biomini USB fingerprint pods delivering the peace of mind of biometric verification without installing separate biometric terminals.
Pendulum’s three editions offer a variety of payroll and management reports that can support effective business management. Administrators can opt to have reports run automatically and emailed. For companies employing tipped workers, Pendulum supports both “cash” and “charge” tip recording and reporting.
