Swiftpage recently announced the launch of version 8.1 of Saleslogix. The English version of Saleslogix 8.1 is ready for purchase internationally from the company's quickly expanding network of value-added reseller partners. In the coming weeks, Swiftpage will look to make both the French and German language versions also available. Version 8.1 of Saleslogix comes with a suite of new social media tools, which enable faster monitoring of user relationships and allows the users to easily interact with their customers over the ever evolving online social real estate.

In response, Swiftpage is introducing the industry-exclusive Saleslogix Social Timeline (News - Alert). With it, users now have a unified, visual and actionable timeline of all social media activity involving a customer contact across multiple sites, simultaneously.
Using the first ever Saleslogix Social Timeline, users will benefit from a unified, visual and actionable timeline covering all of their social media activity pertaining to customer contact over multiple sites. Anytime a customer posts or is tagged in a post over a social media platform, the post appears as an icon over the Social Timeline along with the site's logo. Users can a specific period on the timeline to view the details of each post(s). They can also comment on the post, or directly send a message to the contact through the same social site; all of this can be done from the Saleslogix interface.
Furthermore, users opt for social media interactions to be added either manually or automatically to customer notes, to do lists, leads, support tickets, opportunities, and or feature-request lists. Enhancing the Social Timeline feature are two new interfaces - Social Profiles and Social Buzz. Users can use these interfaces to gain a better understanding of their customers' social media preferences and areas of interest. They can then use this information to create better interaction strategies and highly relevant online content.

User-Requested improvements include - New Outlook Synchronization which allows users to use their Outlook Toolbar to seamlessly access their Saleslogix contacts, library documents, and calendars; Enhanced Sage ERP X3 Integration which supports faster and easier sharing of quality information between Saleslogix and its existing Sage ERP system via the new multi-point synchronization engine which supports cross-application processes and real-time data feeds.
