Sitel, a global customer care provider, has announced that it will soon hire 160 permanent and seasonal customer service agents to cater to the business growth needs at its center in Ocala. These new openings include management positions, such as front line coaches.
Sitel currently has 58,000 employees helping clients with CRM contact center services. Also, the company's support operations span from home based agents to 110+ domestic, near shore and offshore centers in 23 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific.
The company has been experiencing tremendous growth and is looking out for new employees to provide inbound customer care support for a major benefits enrollment company. The recent recruitment drive is also expected to boost economic growth in the Ocala community.
“Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the current Sitel Ocala team members, we have the opportunity to create additional jobs for the local community beginning as soon as the first week of September,” said John Miller, site director of Sitel’s Ocala facility.
Miller said that by offering both permanent and seasonal positions, they are able to appropriately staff their teams for the upswing of customer service inquiries during the holiday season, while still giving their employees the flexibility that they’re looking for.

To select the best candidates, Sitel is holding an onsite job fair on August 15th and 16th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the company’s facility at 1417 North Magnolia Avenue.
