TMCnet Unveils Redesigned Web Site

Norwalk, CT – Technology Marketing Corporation unveiled a completely redesigned TMCnet Web site this week at www.tmcnet.com.
TMCnet is a business-to-business communications and technology site on the Web, reaching as many as 3 million unique visitors per month.
The new design homes in on a more user-friendly presentation and organization of abundant news, information and analysis in a variety of formats. While TMCnet’s exclusive Global Online Communities retain their tabs at the premier position at the top of all TMCnet pages, the home page has been laid out to accommodate larger, more colorful tabs. These tabs lead to TMC’s (News - Alert) publications; coverage of various industries, and news on IP Communications in various regions of the world.
Akin to a new widescreen television, the image area for Top 10 News Stories is large and crisp. This tops off the “Breaking News” headlines, which link to the latest stories in communications and technology. Just below these, tabs lead to the latest news in VoIP, CRM, SIP, Call Center and Wireless Technology.
Free Resources such as Podcasts, Webinars and White Papers can be accessed from several places on the TMCnet home page, including just below the tabs for the Global Online Communities.
The tabs for “Editor’s Choice” and “Latest Videos” are also enlarged, giving visitors an easier way to select content. Further down the homepage, the redesigned “Editor’s Corner” carries the latest entries from TMCnet’s vast team of more than 75 contributors.
As before, tabs for TMCnet’s Channels, or micro-sites, run down the left edge of the TMCnet home page.
The bottom of the TMCnet home page now carries a larger navigation area to access everything on the site.
TMC President Rich Tehrani (News - Alert) writes in his blog post: “Over the past years, many of you have told me that you love to come to TMCnet on a daily basis and the hundreds of stories and blog entries we write on a daily basis contain everything you need to navigate the telecom and tech worlds. At the same time, many of you have told us the interface TMCnet looks busy. Others have told me it is not clear that 50-100 writers contribute to TMCnet on a daily/weekly basis. Our new redesign is meant to address all of these great requests and we hope you enjoy the new TMCnet.”
According to Dave Rodriguez (News - Alert), TMC’s vice president of publications and conferences, the new look of TMCnet reflects the company’s mission not only to provide the most expansive news, analysis and commentary for professionals throughout communications and technology, but also to make the experience more convenient and attractive.
“We have been eager to present the burgeoning content of TMCnet in a design that better captures the high caliber of the news we provide,” Rodriguez said.
