Maximizer: Now Certified By Sprint

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

CRM vendor Maximizer Software has announced that it is now a member of the Sprint (News - Alert) Smartphone Certification Program.

Maximizer Mobile CRM has been certified through the Sprint Smartphone Certification Program to work on Sprint networks. The Smartphone Certification Program, a component of Sprint's Application Developer Program, lets independent developers market applications that Sprint customers can access through the open Internet, so they can do more with their phones, whenever and wherever they go.

Also, Maximizer Mobile CRM for BlackBerry (News - Alert) provides access to information in the field, including customers' history, leads, sales opportunities, dashboards, customer service cases, documents, and schedules, so there is no need to put the device down.

Earlier this month, TMC reported Maximizer’s announcement that JumpShop and Fone Solutions were the first companies to sign its partner program. The program targets an expansion of its mobile-centric Customer Relationship Management.

"With small and medium-sized businesses demanding more applications for their smartphone devices and realizing the need for an end-to-end mobile strategy that considers the hardware and software, we are aggressively seeking top-notch partners like JumpShop and Fone Solutions to help our customers grow with mobility," Angie Hirata, worldwide director of Marketing and Business Development of Maximizer Software said.

In late April TMC also reported Maximizer’s appointment of a new Certified Business Partner in Turkey, Promesa Information Technologies.

Established in 2002, Promesa provides IT consulting and business software, including CRM and ERP, to small to medium-sized businesses. Can Cihan Hircin, general manager at Promesa, said the partnership between Promesa Information Technologies and Maximizer Software "allows us to continue to provide technical service and support, offering IT solutions to meet our clients' specific business needs."

He cited Maximizer Software's "ease of use, affordability and adaptability are all features our customers look for when investing in IT."

One of the first customers to patronize the partnership was the Turkish office of ISTA International, a heat cost allocation device manufacturer and service provider. With 10 Maximizer CRM users at the time of the announcement, the company plans to add an additional 100 by the end of the year to support its distribution channel.
