Medication Reminder and Check in Call Services Announced by GreatCall
Adding to its growing portfolio of award-winning services, GreatCall, Inc. has announced the launch of the GreatCall Medication Reminder service. Customers are kept safe, healthy and connected with services from GreatCall. From their easy-to-use Jitterbug (News - Alert) cell phone, customers will be able to better manage their overall well-being with the GreatCall Medication Reminder service.
Available at the Jitterbug Services Store for $10 per month, the Medication Reminder service will also include high-touch support from the company’s 24/7, U.S.-based customer care representatives.
David Inns (News - Alert), CEO of GreatCall, said in a recent press release, “We have created a fun and effective way to improve how you are sticking to your prescribed medication programs. Making the service easy to use and backing it with our high-quality customer service will get more people more actively engaged in managing their own well-being.”
Users will be able to establish their medication regimen with the Medication Reminder program. Users can personalize set-up and ongoing management of their reminders by either contacting a GreatCall customer service representative or managing everything themselves directly.
Apart from being a reminder program, it works as a self-compliance monitor. A customer will be asked if he or she has taken the prescribed medications on each call. The responses of the customer will be recorded. The customers can respond easily with the simple-to-use Jitterbug cell phone.
The service will then track for compliance every answer which has been recorded. Users will be able to see a chart of adherence to each medication by logging into their myjitterbug.com account. These compliance reports can also be obtained by mail by contacting a GreatCall customer care representative. These reports can then be shared with the doctor, caretaker or loved one.
A Check in Call Service has also been announced by the company. GreatCall’s friendly automated system will check on the user or a loved one with this new helpful service. The service is available at the Jitterbug Services Store for $5 per month. A notification call will be sent to a list of friends or family in case assistance is needed. This will ensure peace of mind and security to the user and also the loved ones.
